The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health (DH) has recently released the latest figures on the HIV/AIDS situation in Hong Kong. A total of 125 additional cases of HIV infection were reported from July to September (3rd quarter of 2020). This figure represents a decrease of 16 cases compared to the previous quarter (2nd quarter of 2020: 141 additional cases). In total, the cumulative number of HIV infections has reached 10,675 cases.
