Chemsex means abusing substances (mainly recreational drugs) to enhance sexual excitement during sex. It has been very popular among the local Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) community in recent years. According to PRiSM study in 2017, nearly 17% of the respondents said they have used recreational drugs/substances before having condomless high-risk sex, which is alarming for our community’s health.

To have a better understanding of the Chemsex issue, Hong Kong AIDS Foundation has invited Dr. Sky H.L. Lau from the University of Hong Kong to explain “Who” , “Where” , “How”, “ Why” and “Danger” of Chemsex via the virtual workshop broadcasted on March 26 night (1st episode).
