Appointment of Ms. Eris Lau as Hong Kong Convention Ambassador

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Eris Lau, Chief Executive of the Foundation, has been appointed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (“HKTB”) as one of the Hong Kong Convention Ambassadors on behalf of the Foundation for a term of 24 months from 1 December 2020 to 30 November 2022.

The Hong Kong Convention Ambassador programme (the “Programme”) is a new initiative launched by the HKTB and all appointments are by invitation to leading local professional bodies, trade / industry associations, chambers of commerce, academic institutions and the public sector only.  More importantly, the invitation of HKTB extended to the Hong Kong AIDS Foundation and Ms. Eris Lau further exemplifies the importance of the work of the Foundation and our contributions to the community over the years.  It should also be noted that the Foundation and its representative, among other prominent figures in other sectors, is the only HIV/AIDS service NGO invited and is only one of the few NGOS in general to be selected.
