In response to COVID-19 epidemic, Hong Kong AIDS Foundation is commemorating the World AIDS Day on the unprecedented platforms: Facebook and Instagram. You are invited to participate in “Your Original Artwork/Snapshot for a Stigma-Free Society” Charity Post, show your support to people living with HIV (PLHIV) by posting photos / comics with key elements in red on Facebook and Instagram, and build a stigma-free society.
Participation Method
- Post the photos / comics with key elements in red and its privacy “Public” on Facebook or Instagram, and include the hashtag:
#YourOriginalArtworkSnapshotForAStigmaFreeSocietyCharityPost - Tag 3 of your friends, and invite them to participate

About World AIDS Day
Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show their support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.
Tips for HIV Infection
Nowadays, especially in the last two decades, becoming HIV positive is not a death sentence and those who contract the disease can enjoy a high quality of life if they stay healthy and are determined in their good drug compliance. Being or living with HIV is no longer an immediate threat to life but is now considered a chronic disease. Putting stigmatization on People Living with HIV (PLHIV) is therefore not warranted.
