The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) has recently released the latest figures on the HIV/AIDS situation in Hong Kong from April to June as of 2020. A total of 141 additional cases of HIV infection were reported from April to June (2nd quarter of 2020). This figure represents a slight increase of 12 cases compared to the previous quarter (1st quarter of 2020: 129 additional cases). In total, the cumulative number of HIV infections has reached 10,550 cases.
