The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) has released the latest figures on the HIV/AIDS situation in Hong Kong from January to March as of 2020. A total of 129 additional cases of HIV infection were reported from January to March (1st quarter of 2020). This figure represents a slight decrease of 1 case compared to the previous quarter (4th quarter of 2019: 130 additional cases). In total, the cumulative number of HIV infections has reached 10,409 cases.
